 स्वरशास्त्र the general name of works containing a pro-
gnostication of future events,  especially in warfare, 
these being ascertained by regulated breathings
through the nose,  stellar combinations,  peculiar ar-
rangements of the alphabet in mystic circles,  and
similar sage means. Oppert II,  2146. Quoted in
Mārtaṇḍavallabhā. See Narapatijayacaryā,  Yuddha-
jayopāya,  Samarasāra,  Svarodaya.
