स्वत एव आविर्भावः । यथा, --“बहिर्हेत्वनपेक्षी तु स्वभावोऽथ प्रकीर्त्तितः ।निसर्गश्च स्वरूपञ्चेत्येषोऽपि भवति द्विधा ॥
निसर्गः सुदृढाभ्यासजन्यः संस्कार उच्यते ।अजन्यस्तु स्वतः सिद्धः स्वरूपं भाव इष्यते ॥

त्रिविधाश्च मता वेदे वेदवेदाङ्गपारगाः ॥
स्वयञ्च कर्म्मजनकस्तत् कर्म्म दैवकारणम् ।स्वभावो जायते नॄणामात्मनः पूर्व्वकर्म्मणा ॥

स एवात्मा संर्व्वसेव्यः सर्व्वेषाञ्च फलप्रदः ।स च सृजति दैवञ्च स्वभावं कर्म्म एव च ॥

अहो श्रीकृष्णदासानां कः स्वभावः सुनिर्म्मलः ।हृतभार्य्यमुच्छितञ्च न शशाप रिपुं गुरुः ॥
”इति ब्रह्मवैवर्त्ते प्रकृतिखण्डे । ५७ । २१ -- २८ ।२१ । ४१ ॥
अपि च ।“सुदिनं दुर्द्दिनञ्चैव सर्व्वं कर्म्मोद्भवे भव ।तत् कर्म्म तपसां साध्यं कर्म्मणाञ्च शुभाशुभम् ॥
तपः स्वभावसाध्यञ्च स्वभावोऽभ्यासतो भवेत् ।संसर्ग साध्योऽभ्यासश्च संसर्गः पुण्यतो भवेत् ॥
”इति ब्रह्मवैवर्त्ते श्रीकृष्णजन्मखण्डे ४३ । ५१ -- ५२ ॥
अन्यच्च । चाणक्यवाक्यम् ।“स्वभावो यादृशो यस्य न यहाति कदाचन ।अङ्गारः शतधौतेन मलिनत्वं न मुञ्चति ॥
