स्थितिस्थापक स्थितिं स्थापयति स्था--णिच्--पुक् ण्वुल् ।न्यायाक्ते संस्कारविशेषे “संस्कारभेदो वेगोऽथ स्थिति-स्थापकभावने” “स्थितिस्थापकसंस्कारः क्षितौ केचिच्च-तुर्ष्वपि । अतीन्द्रियोऽसौ विज्ञेयः क्वचित् स्पन्देऽपिकारणम्” भाषाप० ।तल्लक्षणं पृथिवीमात्रसमवेतसंस्कारत्वव्याप्यजातिमत्त्वम् ।संस्कारत्वस्याजातित्वे तु तद्व्याप्यधमवत्त्वम् । तथा चपूर्वसंयागजनितसंयोगनाशकत्वे सति पूर्वसंयोगजातीय-संयोगजनकत्वं तत्त्वम् । स च क्रियाविशेषजन्यः क्रिया-विशेषजनकः स्वजन्यक्रियानाश्यो गुणविशेषः । अन्य-थाकृतस्य पुनस्तदस्यतया स्थापकः गुणविशेष इत्यन्ये ।यथाऽऽकृष्टज्ञास्वादीनां त्यागे पुनस्तथावस्थिततया अवस्थापकः । स च अतीन्द्रियः ।
