सौदायिकं, त्रि, (सुदायेभ्यः पितृमातृभर्त्तृकुल-सम्बन्धिभ्य आगतमिति । सुदाय + ठञ् ।) पितृ-मातृभर्त्तृकुललब्धस्त्रीधनम् । यथा, कात्यायनः ।“ऊढया कन्यया वापि पत्युः पितृगृहेऽथवा ।भर्त्तुः सकाशात् पित्रोर्व्वा लब्धं सौदायिकंस्मृतम् ॥
सौदायिकं धनं प्राप्य स्त्रीणां स्वातन्त्र्यमिष्यतेयस्मात् तदानृशंस्याथं तैर्दत्तं तत्प्रजीवनम् ॥
सौदायिके सदा स्त्रीणां स्वातन्त्र्यं परिकीर्त्तितम्विक्रये चैव दाने च यथेष्टं स्थावरेष्वपि ॥
