सूर्य्यलोकः,
पुं,
 (सूर्य्यस्य लोकः ।) सौरभुवनम् ।यथा, --“विनौषधैर्विना वैद्यैर्विना पथ्यपरिग्रहैः ।कालेन निधनं प्राप्य सूर्य्य लोके महीयते ॥
”इति काशीखण्डे सूर्य्यार्घ्य दानफलम् ॥
अपि च ।“सौरं लोकमथावाप्य क्षणेन स विमानगः ।यथा कदम्बकुसुमं किञ्जल्कैः सर्व्वतोवृतम् ॥
देदीप्यमानं हि तथा समन्ताद्भानुभानुभिः ।दूराद्रविं स विज्ञाय धृततामरसद्वयम् ॥
नवभिर्य्योजनानाञ्च सहस्रैः सम्मितेन च ।विचित्रेणैकचक्रे ण सप्तसप्तियुतेन च ॥
अनूरुणाधिष्ठितेन सर्व्वतो धृतरश्मिना ।अप्सरोमुनिगन्धर्व्वसर्पग्रामणिनैरृतैः ॥
स्यन्दनेनातिजविना प्रणनाम कृताञ्जलिः ।तस्य प्रणामं देवोऽपि भ्रूभङ्गेनानुमन्य च ।अतिदूरं नभोवर्त्म प्रतिचक्राम स क्षणात् ॥
प्रक्रान्ते द्युमणौ दूरं शिवशर्म्मातिशर्म्मवान् ।प्रोवाच भगवद्भृत्यौ कथं लभ्यं रवेः पदम् ॥
”इति स्कन्दपुराणे काशीखण्डे सूर्य्यलोकवर्णनंनाम ९ अध्यायः ॥
