सुश्रुत / SUŚRUTA. Reputed master of the science of Surgery, suśruta was the grandson of King gādhi and son of viśvāmitra. (anuśāsana parva, Chapter 4, Verse 55).
He is the author of Suśrutasaṁhitā, one of the famous texts on āyurveda.
