सर्वनामस्थान a term used in Paini's grammar, for the first five case affixes सु, औ, अस्, अम् and as also for the nom. and acc. pl. afix ( शि ) of the neuter gender. The term appears to be an old one, which was used, by a specific men- tion, for the first five case-affixes which caused a special change in the base before them in the case of many words
