Edgerton Buddhist Hybrid
English
[sapūrva- (samādinna), adopted by Senart in Mv 〔i.211.14〕 = 〔ii.15.14〕 (prose), tāni (sc. śikṣāpadāni) ca sapūrva-(so one ms. in 〔i.211.14〕, v.l. saṃpūrṇa-
in 〔ii.15.14〕 one ms. pūrva-, the other omits this part of the cpd.)samādinnāni bhavanti
Senart admits inability to suggest a reasonable interpretation
I would read saṃpūrṇa-, and they were completely adopted (by the Bodhisattvaʼs [Page559-b] mother). It is impossible to read pūrva- since the prec. sentence says that she adopted them when the B. entered her womb.]
