Satyaśravas, a Kuru warrior. § 572 (Rathātirathasaṅkhyānap.): V, 167, 5790 (bṛhadbalaḥ, a ratha in the army of Duryodhana, Nīl. takes satyaśravāḥ as an adj. and Bṛhadbala as the name, but Bṛhadbala is mentioned v. 5765). --§ 593 (Abhimanyuvadhap.): VII, 45, 1805, 1806 (seized by Abhimanyu).

सत्यश्रवस् / SATYAŚRAVAS I. A warrior who fought on the kaurava side against the pāṇḍavas. abhimanyu killed this warrior. (M.B. droṇa parva, Chapter 45, Verse 3).
सत्यश्रवस् / SATYAŚRAVAS II. A teacher-priest of the line of the ṛgveda-disciples of vyāsa. He was the son of the hermit mārkaṇḍeya. (vāyu purāṇa, 96: 171).

Vayya’) is the name of a Ṛṣi in the Rigveda.^1 Ludwig^2 thinks
that he was the son of Sunītha Śaucadratha.
