 पीतकाष्ठम् । यथा, --“जायकं झावुकं संज्ञं प्रचेलं प्राविरः पुमान् ।कालीयकञ्च कालानुसार्य्यञ्चाथ समर्थकम् ॥
”जायकादिसप्तपीतकाष्ठे । इति शब्दचन्द्रिका ॥
संज्ञः, त्रि, (सम्यक्प्रकारेण जानाति यः । सं +ज्ञा + कः ।) लग्नजानुकः । यथा, --“प्रज्ञुः प्रगतजानुः स्यात् प्रज्ञोऽत्रैव च दृश्यते ।संज्ञुः संहतजानुश्च भवेत् संज्ञोऽपि तत्र हि ॥
”इति साहसाङ्कः । इत्यमरटीकायां भरतः ॥
