संस्तावः,
पुं,
 (समेत्य स्तुवन्ति यस्मिन् देशे छन्दोगाइति । सम् + स्तु + “यज्ञे समि स्तुवः ।” ३ ।३ । ३१ । इति घञ् ।) क्रतुषु द्विजन्मनांस्तुतिभूमिः । इत्यमरः ॥
यज्ञेषु स्तुतिकारिणांब्राह्मणानां अवस्थानभूमिः संस्ताव उच्यते ।क्रतुषु यज्ञविषयेषु द्विजानां या स्तुतिभूमिःस्थानं स संस्ताव इत्यन्वयः । समेत्य स्तूयतेछन्दोगरत्र इति संस्तावः घञ् । इति भरतः ॥
