वेदाङ्गषट्शास्त्राणि । यथा, --“शिक्षा कल्पो व्याकरणं निरुक्तं ज्योतिषं तथाछन्दश्चेति षडङ्गानि वेदानां वैदिका विदुः ॥

शिक्षाघ्राणन्तु वेदस्य मुखं व्याकरणं स्मृतम् ।तस्मात् साङ्गमधीत्यैव ब्रह्ललोके महीयते ॥

आद्यश्राद्धीयदानाङ्गपीठादिकम् । इति लोक-प्रसिद्धम् ॥
