 शीघ्रगः,  त्रि,  (शीघ्रं गच्छतीति । गम् + डः ।)द्रुतगामी । यथा,  --“हरिते रोगोऽनुतापः शस्यानामीतिभिश्चविध्वं सः ।कपिले शीघ्रगसत्वम्ले च्छध्वंसोऽथ दुर्भिक्षम् ॥
”इति तिथ्यादितत्त्वम् ॥
