English
Śirimbiṭha occurs in one passage of the Rigveda, ^1 where the
name of a man may possibly be meant, the Anukramaṇī
(Index) ascribing the hymn in which the word occurs to his
authorship. Yāska, ^2 however, renders the term by ‘cloud.’
