the word अाप्य is also used in this sense: cf. कर्म निर्वर्त्ये विकार्यं प्राप्यं ग्रस्य प्रकृत्युच्छेदो गुणान्तरं वोत्पद्यते तद्विकार्यम् Srinagara- Prakasa 2, The term is used as a technical term instead of the term कर्म in the Hemacandra, Candra and other systems of grammar: cf. Hem. II.2.3
