Vyāghradatta^1, one or more Pāṇḍava warriors. § 572 (Rathātirathasaṅkhyānap.): V, 171, 5911 (among the rathas in the army of Yudhishṭhira).--§ 590 (Droṇabhishekap.): VII, 16, 650 (Pāñcālyaḥ), 652 (do.), 655 (slain by Droṇa). --§ 592 (Saṃśaptakavadhap.): VII, 23, 1001 (proceeded against Droṇa, description of his horses).--§ 604 (Karṇap.): VIII, 6, 166 (had been slain by Aśvatthāman). व्याघ्रदत्त / VYĀGHRADATTA I. A King who fought on the side of the pāṇḍavas. This King who was a great fighter on the chariot, fought with the teacher droṇa. It is mentioned in mahābhārata, droṇa parva, Chapter 16, Stanza 32, that he was killed by droṇa.
व्याघ्रदत्त / VYĀGHRADATTA II. A prince of the country of magadha. He took the side of the kauravas and was killed in the battle of bhārata by sātyaki. (M.B. droṇa Parva, Chapter 107, Stanza 31).
