पुराणम्
English
विहंग / VIHAṄGA. A serpent (nāga) born in the race of the nāga airāvata. It is mentioned in mahābhārata, Ādi Parva, Chapter 57, Stanza 12, that this serpent fell in the sacrificial fire of the serpent-sacrifice performed by janamejaya and was burnt to death.
