विष में पले कीड़ों का नीतिवाक्य। यह उस स्थिति को प्रकट करने के लिए प्रयुक्त किया जाता है जो दूसरों के लिए घातक होते हुए भी उनके लिए ऐसी नहीं होती जो इसमें जन्मे और पले है
क्योंकि वह स्थिति तो उनका स्वभाव बन गया है जैसे कि विषकृमि जो विष से ही जन्मा है। विष चाहे दूसरों के लिए घातक हो परन्तु उनके लिए घातक नहीं होता जो उसी विषैली स्थिति में पले हैं।
