वयस्थः, त्रि, युवा । इत्यमरः । २ । ६ । ४२ ॥
वयसि यौवने तिष्ठति इति वयस्थः डः निपा-ताद्विसर्गस्य वा लुक् वयःस्थश्च ॥
वयःपक्षिणिबाल्यादौ वयो यौवनमात्रके । इति विश्वः ।इति भरतः ॥

वय(यः)स्थ पुंस्त्री० वयसि यौवने तिष्ठति स्था--क खर्परेशरि वा विसर्गलोपः । १ तरुणे २ विभीतक्यां स्त्री अमरः ।“वयस्था नागरासङ्गात्” वैद्यकम् । ३ आमलक्यां ४ हरी-तक्यां ५ सोमवल्लर्य्यां स्त्री अमरः । ६ गुडूच्यां ७ सूक्ष्मैलायां८ काकोल्याम् ९ आलौ स्त्री मेदि० । १० शाल्मलौ स्त्रीहेमच० । ११ क्षीरकाकोल्याम् भावप्र० १२ अत्यल्पपर्ण्यांमत्स्याक्ष्यां १४ युवतौ च स्त्री राजनि० ।
