लावण्यार्जितं,
क्ली,
 (लावण्येन अर्जितम् ।) विवाह-कालीनं श्वशुराभ्यां दत्तं धनम् । यथा, --“प्रीत्या दत्तञ्च यत्किञ्चित् श्वश्र्वा वा श्वशुरेणवा ।पादवन्दनिकं यत्तल्लावण्यार्जितमुच्यते ॥
”इति विवादचिन्तामणिधृतकात्यायनवचनम् ॥
लावण्यं शीलनैपुण्यादि । तथा च पादप्रणतायैशीलादिमत्यै वा स्त्रियै श्वशुरादिना दत्तंतृतीयं स्त्रीधनमित्यर्थः । इति तद्व्याख्यानम् ॥
