Rāja-kula, a ‘kingly family, is mentioned in the Jaiminīya
Upaniṣad Brāhmaṇa (iii. 28, 4), where, it is to be noted, such a
family is ranked after, not before, a Brāhmaṇa Kula, a ‘Brah-
min family.’
