स्त्री,
 (योगश्चित्तवृत्तिनिरोधलक्षणःसमाधिस्तद्रूपा निद्रा ।) दुर्गा । यथा, --“या निम्नान्तःस्थलाधस्था जगदण्डकपालतः ।विभज्य पुरुषं याति योगनिद्रेति सोच्यते ॥
”इति कालिकापुराणे ६ अध्यायः ॥
(अपि च मार्कण्डेये देवीमाहात्म्ये । ८१ । ४९ ।“योगनिद्रां यदा विष्णुर्ज्जगत्येकार्णवीकृते ।आस्तीर्य्य शेषमभजत् कल्पान्ते भगवान् प्रभुः ॥
”योगेन सन्नहनोपायादिना साध्या निद्रा ।वीराणां निद्रा । यथा, कामन्दकीयनीति-सारे । १५ । ४४ ।“मार्गे च दुर्गे विनिविष्टसैन्योविधाय रक्षां विधिवद्विधिज्ञः ।सन्नद्धपार्श्वस्थितिवीरयोधःसेवेत साध्वीं सुखयोगनिद्राम् ॥
