‘युद्ध में अडिग’ पांडवों में ज्येष्ठ राजकुमार। इसे ‘धर्म’‘धर्मराज’ और ‘अजातशत्रु’ आदि भी कहते हैं। यह धर्म द्वारा कुन्ती से उत्पन्न हुआ था। सैन्यचातुरी की अपेक्षा यह अपनी सचाई और ईमानदारी के लिए अत्यन्त प्रसिद्ध था। अठारह दिन के महाभारत के पश्चात इसे हस्तिनापुर की राजगद्दी पर सम्राट के रुप में अभिषिक्त किया गया था।उसके पश्चात इसने बहुत दिनों तक धर्मपूर्वक राज्य किया। इसका अधिक विवरण जानने के लिए दे०‘दुर्योधन’।
