Vedic Reference
English
Mehatnū is the name of a stream in the Nadīstuti (‘Praise
of Rivers’) in the Rigveda.^1 It must apparently have been
a tributary of the Sindhu (Indus), entering that river before
the Krumu (Kurum) and Gomatī (Gomal). It may conceivably
have been a tributary of the Krumu.
