 महाप्रभुः,  पुं,
   (महांश्चासौ प्रभुश्चेति ।) पर-मेश्वरः । यथा,  --“वन्देऽनन्ताद्भुतैश्वर्य्यं श्रीचैतन्यं महाप्रभुम् ।नीचोऽपि यत्प्रसादात् स्यात् सदाचारप्रव-र्त्तकः ॥
”इति हरिभक्तिविलासे ३ विलासः ॥
“अनन्तमद्भुतञ्चावितर्क्यं ऐश्वर्य्यं प्रभावो यस्य तंयतो महाप्रभुं परमेश्वरम् ।” इति तट्टीकायांजीवगोस्वामी ॥
 श्रीचैतन्यः । यथा,  --“सोऽयं नीलगिरीश्वरः सविभवो यात्रा चसा गुण्डिचाते ते दिग्विदिगागताः सुकृतिनस्तास्तादिदृक्षार्त्तयः ।आरामश्च त एव नन्दनवनश्रीणां तिरस्कारिणःसर्व्वाण्येव महाप्रभुं वत विना शून्यानि मन्या-महे ॥
