Marudgaṇa, name of a tīrtha. § 733q (Ānuśāsanik.): By bathing in the tīrtha M., in the retreat of the Pitṛs, and in the tīrtha of Vaivasvata one becomes cleansed. By bathing in the tīrtha Brahmasaras on the Bhāgīrāthī one attains to the region of Soma: XIII, 25, 1725.
