 (भीमो भैरवो नादो यस्य ।)सिंहः । इति शब्दचन्द्रिका ॥
(भीमो नादःशब्दः । इति विग्रहे भयानकशब्दः । यथा, चातकाष्टके । १ ।“वातैर्विधूनय विभीषय भीमनादैःसञ्चूर्णय त्वमथवा करकाभिघातैः ।त्वद्वारिबिन्दुपरिपालितजीवितस्यनान्या गतिर्भवति वारिद ! चातकस्य ॥
