Abhyankara Grammar
Englishबह्वादि a class of words headed by बहु to which the fem. affix ई ( ङीप् ) is added to form the feminine base
the words ending in अ in | this class take the fem. affix अा ( टाप् ) in case ई which is optional, is not added
other words remain as they are, if ई, is not added
e. g. बह्वी, बहु:
पद्धतिः, पद्धती
गति:, _ गती
चण्डी, चण्डा
