बल्वल / BALVALA (valkala). An asura. This asura had been tormenting the hermits of the forest of Naimiśa. This asura was killed by balabhadrarāma.(* In the original of bhāgavata this name is given as balvala. But in the Malayalam translation the name used is “Valkala”.)
