Babara Prā-vāhaṇi (‘descendant of Pravāhaṇa’) is the name
of a man who, according to the Taittirīya Saṃhitā, ^1 wished to
become an orator, and obtained rhetorical power by the use
of the Pañcarātra sacrifice.
