  द्व० द्वि० व० । प्राणे अपाने च १ वायौ “प्राणापा-नान्तरे देवी वाग्वै नित्यं प्रतिष्ठिता” मञ्जूषाधृतवाक्यम् ।२ अश्विनीकुमारयो० “तस्यां त्वाष्ट्र्यामश्वरूप्यां मार्त्तण्ड-स्तीव्रतेजमा । वीजं निर्वापयामास तज्जलं तद्द्विधा-ऽपतत् । तत्र प्राणस्त्वपानश्च योनौ चात्मजितौ पुरा ।वरदानेन च पुनर्मूर्त्तिमन्तौ बभूवतुः । तौ त्वाष्ट्र्या-मश्वरूपिण्यां जातौ येन नरोत्तमौ । ततस्तावश्विनौदेषौ कीर्त्त्येते रविनन्दनौ” वराहपु०  ।
