पूर्व्वफल्गुनी,
स्त्री,
 (पूर्व्वा फल्गुनीति कर्म्मधारयः ।)अश्विन्यादिसप्तविंशतिनक्षत्रान्तर्गतैकादशनक्ष-त्रम् । तत्तु खट्वाकृतितारकाद्बयात्मकम् ।तस्याधिष्ठात्री देवता भगः । इति मुहूर्त्त-चिन्तामणिः ॥
अपि च ।“दक्षिणोत्तरगते द्वितारकेयोनिभे मिलति मस्तकोपरि ।कीटतः स्फुटसरोरुहानने !निःसृता २६८ गजरसाक्षिलिप्तिकाः ॥
”द० ४ । २८ । इति कालिदासकृतरात्रिलग्न-निरूपणम् ॥

तत्र जातफलम् ।“शूरस्त्यागी साहसी भूमिभर्त्ताकोपाक्रान्तः स्याच्छिरालोऽतिदक्षः ।धूर्त्तः क्रूरोऽत्यन्तवाताधिकः प्राक्-फल्न्यश्चेज्जन्मकाले च यस्य ॥
