Englishपयस्य / PAYASYA. Son of the sage aṅgiras. He had eight sons named Varuṇas. They were:--bṛhaspati, utathya. payasya, śānti, ghora, virūpa, Saṁvartta and sudhanvā. (Śloka 130, Chapter 85, anuśāsana parva).
