नेमिचक्र / NEMICAKRA. A king,  who once ruled hastināpura. Once,  when hastināpura was washed away by floods of yamunā nemicakra built a new city in kauśāmbī. (bhāgavata,  9th skandha).

   परीक्षिद्वंशजः असीमकृष्णस्य पुत्त्रः ।स हस्तिनानगरे नद्या हृते कौशाम्ब्यां पुर्य्यांराजासीत् । इति श्रीभागवते । ९ । २२ । ३९ ॥
(अस्यैव राज्यशासनसमयनिर्णयो यथा,  राजा-वल्याम् १ परिच्छेदे ।“गजाह्वये हृते नद्या कोशम्ब्यां निवसन् मुदा ।षट्सप्ततिमितान् वर्षान् तथा मासत्रयाधिकान् ।भुक्त्वा भोगान् गतः स्वर्गं सुप्तं राज्येऽभिषिच्य च ॥
