 धूमोऽस्त्यस्य बाहुल्येन “नैकाक्षरात् कृतोजातेः सप्तम्याञ्च न तौ स्मृतौ” इत्युक्तेः इनिठनोर्जातिवाचकात् निषेधेऽपि भूम्नि तस्यानिषेवात् इनि ।१ वाहुल्येन धूमवति अबाहुल्ये तु मतुवेव धूमवान्इत्येव । स्त्रियां ङीप् । सा च अजमीढस्य २ पत्नीभेदे“अजमीढस्य पत्न्यस्तु तिस्रो वै यशसान्विताः । नीलीच केशिनी चैव धूमिनी च वराङ्गनाः” हरिवं० ३२ अ० ।३ वह्नेर्जिह्वाभेदे स्त्री धूम्रवर्णशब्दे दृश्यम् ।
