पुं,
 (दिशां पतिः ।) दिगधीश्वरः ।तद्यथा । प्राच्यधिपो रविः । अग्निकोणाधिपःशुक्रः । दक्षिणाधिपः कुजः । नैरृतकोणाधिपोराहुः । प्रतीच्यधिपः शनिः । वायुकोणाधिप-श्चन्द्रः । उत्तराधिपो बुधः । ईशानकोणाधिपोगुरुः । तस्य प्रमाणं यथा, --“सूर्य्यः शुक्रः क्षमापुत्त्रः सैंहिकेयः शनिः शशी ।सौम्यस्त्रिदशमन्त्री च प्राच्यादिदिगधीश्वराः ॥
”इति ज्योतिस्तत्त्वम् ॥

 ६ त० । दिशां पत्यौ १ इन्द्रादौ दिक्कन्याशब्दे दृश्यम् । “पवनोदिक्पतिर्भौम आकाशः खचरा-मराः” संकल्पप्रारम्भमन्त्रः “वितरसि दिक्षु रणे दिक्-पतिकमनीयम्” गीतगो० । “सूर्यः सोमः क्षमापुत्रःसैंहिकेयः शनिः शशी सीम्यस्त्रिदशमन्त्री च पूर्वादिदि-गधीश्वराः” इत्युक्तेषु २ सूर्य्यादिग्रहेषु ।
