 (गृह्णाति आक्रमते उदरभङ्गादि-रूपेण नाडीविशेषावच्छिन्नं शरीरमिति । ग्रहञ उपादाने + “ग्रहेरनिः ।” उणां । ५ । ६७ ।इति अनिः णत्वं च ।) ग्रहणीरोगः । इत्यमर-टीकायां रायमुकुटः ॥

ग्रह(णि)णी स्त्री गृह्णाति रोगिणोदेहम् ग्रह--अनि वाङीप् । १ पित्तधराख्ये कलाभेदे २ तदाश्रिते रोगभेदेग्रवाहिकायां च तद्रोगस्थाननिदानाद्युक्तं सुश्रुते यथा“दुष्यति ग्रहणी जन्तोरग्निसादनहतुभिः । अति-सारे निवृत्तेऽपि मन्दाग्नेरहिताशिनः । भूयः सन्दू-षितो वह्निर्ग्रहणीमभिदूषयेत् । तस्मात्कार्य्यः परी-हारस्त्वतीसारे विरिक्तवत् । यावन्न प्रकृतिस्थः स्याद्दोषतःप्राणतस्तथा । षष्ठी पित्तधरा नाम या कला परिकी-र्त्तिता । पक्वामाशयमध्यस्था ग्रहणी सा प्रकीर्त्तिता ।ग्रहण्यां बलमग्निर्हि स चापि ग्रहणीश्रितः । तस्मा-त्संदूषिते वह्नौ ग्रहणी सम्प्रदुष्यति । एकशः सर्वशश्चैवदोषैरत्यर्थमूर्च्छितैः । सा दुष्टा बहुशोभुक्तमाममेव विमु-ञ्चति । पक्वं वा सरुजं पूति मुहुर्ब्बद्धं मुहुर्द्रवम् । ग्रहणी-रोगमाहुस्तमायुर्वेदविदो जनाः । तस्योत्पत्तौ विदाहान्न-सदनालस्यतृट्क्लमाः । बलक्षयोऽरुचिः कासः कर्णक्ष्वेडा-न्त्रकूजनम् । अथ जाते भवेज्जन्तुः शूनपादकरः कृशः ।पर्व्वरुग्लौल्यतृट्छर्दिज्वरारोचकदाहबान् । उद्गिरे-च्छुक्ततिक्ताम्ललोहधूमामगन्धिकम् । प्रसेकमुखवैरस्यतम-कारुचिपीडितः । वाताच्छूनाधिकैः पायुहृत्पार्श्वोदरम-स्तकैः । पित्तात्सदाहैर्गुरुभिः कफात्त्रिभिस्त्रिलक्षणैः ।दोषवर्ण्णनखैस्तद्वद्विण्मूत्रनयनाननैः । हृत्पाण्डूदरगुल्मार्शःप्लीहाशङ्की च मानवः” ।“नानाविधद्रव्यचौरो जायते ग्रहणीयुतः” शाता० । तस्याःकर्मभेदविपाकतोक्ता । तस्या महारोगत्वमदाह्यशब्दे उक्तम्“वृद्धस्य ग्रहणीरोगो नागृहीत्वा निवर्त्तते” वैद्य० ।
