 (गोर्जाता रोचना हरिद्रा इव ।)स्वनामख्यातपीतवर्णद्रव्यम् । तत्तु गोमस्तकस्थ-शुष्कपित्तम् । यथा, माधवकरे ।विशोषयेद्वस्तिगतं सशुक्रंमूत्रं सपित्तं पवनः कफं वा ।यदा तदाश्मर्य्युपजायते चक्रमेण पित्तेष्विव रोचना गोः ॥
”तत्पर्य्यायः । रुचिः २ शोभा ३ रुचिरा ४शोभना ५ शुभा ६ गौरी ७ रोचनी ८ पिङ्गा ९मङ्गल्या १० मङ्गला ११ शिवा १२ पीता १३गौतमी १४ गव्या १५ चन्दनीया १६ काञ्चनी १७मेध्या १८ मनोरमा १९ श्यामा २० रामा २१ ।इति राजनिर्घण्टः ॥
बन्द्या २२ रोचना २३ ।अस्या गुणाः । हिमत्वम् । तिक्तत्वम् । वश्य-मङ्गलकान्तिकारित्वम् । विषालक्ष्मीग्रहोन्माद-गर्भस्रावक्षतास्रनाशित्वञ्च । इति भावप्रकाशः ॥
रुच्यत्वम् । पवित्रताशृङ्गारहितकारित्वम् ।कृमिकुष्ठनाशित्वम् । भूतोपशमनत्वम् । जन-मोहनत्वञ्च । इति राजनिर्घण्टः ॥
