स्त्री,
 (गवां क्षुरोत्थिता धूलिर्यत्र-काले ।) कालविशेषः । गोधूलिकालस्तु त्रिविधः ।यथा, ग्रीष्मे अर्द्धास्तरविकालः । हेमन्तशिशि-रयोर्मृदुताप्राप्तपिण्डीकृतरविकालः । वर्षाशरद्-वसन्तेष्वस्तगतरविकालः । यथा, --“गोधूलिं त्रिविधां वदन्ति मुनयो नारीविवाहा-दिकेहेमन्ते शिशिरे प्रयाति मृदुतां पिण्डीकृतेभास्करे ।ग्रीष्मेऽर्द्धास्तमिते वसन्तसमये भानौ गतेऽदृश्यतांसूर्य्ये चास्तमुपागते च नियतं वर्षाशरत्-कालयोः ॥

गोधूलि स्त्री गवां खुरोत्थितो धूलिरत्र काले । गवां प्रचार-देशात् गृहागमनकाले गोखुरोद्धृतधूलियुक्ते समयभेदेसच कालो यथा “सन्ध्यातपारुणितपश्चिमदिग्विभागेव्योम्नि स्फुरद्विरलतारकसन्निवेशे । रुद्धे गवां खुरपुटो-द्गलितैरजोभिर्गोधूलिरेव कथितो भृगुजेन योगः” पी०धा० धृतवाक्योक्तः उपयमशब्दे १२७५ । ७६ पृ० अस्यविवृतिर्दृश्या “तिथ्यादिषु निषिद्धेषु चन्द्रताराविलोमतः ।ऊषां गाधूलियोगं वा स्वीकृत्य गमनं चरेत् । प्राच्या-मूषां प्रतीच्याञ्च गोधूलिं वर्जयेन्नृपुः । दक्षिणे चाभि-जिच्चैवमुत्तरे च निशां तथा” । ज्यो० त० वराहःगोरजमु शब्दोऽप्यत्र उपयमशब्दे २५७५ । ७६ पृ० उदा०
