Englishकण्वादि a class of words forming a portion of the class of words call- ed गर्गादि, and headed by the word कण्व, to the derivatives of which, formed by the afix यञ् by the rule गर्गादिभ्यो यञ् (P.IV.1.105) the affix अण् is added in the misce- llaneous senses
