 एकस्मिन् पदे स्थाने विभक्त्यन्ते वा भवःठञ् । १ एकस्थानभवे २ एकविभक्त्यन्तपदभवे च । एकपदायप्रभवति ठञ् । “कृतोऽप्येकपदिका भवन्ति यथाव्रततिर्दमूनाः” इत्यादि निरु० “एकार्थमनेकशब्द-मित्येतदुक्तम् अथ यान्यनेकार्थान्येकपदानि तान्यतो-ऽनुक्रमिष्यामोऽनवगतसंस्कारांश्च निगमान् तदैकपदिक-मित्याचक्षते इति निरु० उक्ते अनेकशब्दे एकार्थपरे समा-सादिवृत्तिरूपे ३ वाक्यभेदे च ।
