1 उदन् {c2c} P. (उद्-अन्) To breathe upwards, send out the breath in an upward direction (opp. अपान्).
2 उदन् n. [उंद्-कनिन्] Water (usually occurring in compounds either at the beginning or at the end, and as an optional substitute for उदक after the acc. dual. It has no forms for the first five inflections. In comp. it drops its न्)
