(यथा, मनुः । १ । ६७ ।“दैवे रात्र्यहनी वर्षं प्रविभागस्तयोः पुनः ।अहस्तत्रोदगयनं रात्रिः स्याद् दक्षिणायनम्” ॥
“तदादित्यस्योदगयनमादानञ्च त्रीनृतून् शिशि-रादीन् ग्रीष्मान्तान् व्यवस्येत्” ॥
