 उत्सर्पति णिनि । उत्पतिष्णौ “पयोधरोत्-सर्पिषु शीर्य्यमाणः” रघुः । “उत्सर्पिभिः प्रांशु-मिवांशुजालैः” किरा० २ अतिशयिते स्त्रियां ङीप् ।“उत्सर्पिणी खलु महतां प्रार्थना” शकु० सा च हेम-चन्द्रोक्ते कालचक्रार्न्तगते ३ कालगतिमेदे “सागरकोटिकोटीनां विंशत्या स समाप्यते । अवसर्पिण्यांषडरा उत्सर्पिण्यां तएव विपरीताः । एवं द्वादशभिररै-र्विवर्त्तते कालचक्रमिदम्” हेम० ।
