Sanskritअवाङ्मनसगोचर वाक् च मनश्च वाङ्मनसौ तयोर्गोचरोन भवति । वक्तुमशशक्ये मन्तुमशक्ये च निर्गुणे व्रह्मणि“यद्वाचानाभ्युद्यते येन वागभ्युद्यते” “यन्मनसा न मनुते येनमनोऽनुमन्यते” इत्यादि श्रुत्या तस्य तदविषयत्वोक्तेस्तथात्वम् । तज्जन्यवृत्त्यवच्छिन्नचैतन्याविषयत्वञ्च तदविषयत्वंतयोर्वृत्तिविषयत्वस्य तस्मिन्निष्टत्वात् “फलव्याप्यत्व-मेवास्य शास्त्रकृद्भिर्निराकृतम् । ब्रह्मण्यज्ञाननाशायवृत्तिव्याप्तिरपेक्षिता” इत्युक्तेः अतएव “मनसैवानुद्रष्टव्यः”“तन्त्वौपनिषदं वेदेत्यादि” श्रुतिषु तद्विषय यतोक्तिः सङ्गच्छते“अखण्डसच्चिदानन्दमवाङमनसगोचरम्” वे० सा० ।
