Sanskritअवच्छिन्नवाद अवच्छिन्नतया अन्तःकरणावच्छिन्नतयाजीवस्य वादोव्यवस्थापनम् । वेदान्तिमतप्रसिद्धे चैतन्यस्यअन्तः करणावच्छिद्वतया व्यवस्थापके मतभेदे । तथाहि तेषांमतद्वैधम् केचित् अन्तःकरणे प्रतिविम्बितं चैतन्यं जीवइति प्रतिपेदिरे केचिच्च तदवच्छिन्नं चैतन्यंजीव इति ।तत्र नीरूपस्य चैतन्यस्यान्तःकरणे प्रतिविम्बासम्भवेन प्रति-विम्बस्य च मिथ्यात्वेन जीवस्य सत्यत्वानुपपत्तेः बन्ध-मोक्षयोः सामानाधिकरण्याभावापत्तेः प्रतिविम्बवादंदूषयित्वाऽवच्छिन्नवादं समर्थयाञ्चक्रिरे । तथा च नैयायि-कादीनामेकस्यापि नभसः कर्ण्णशष्कुल्यादिभेदेन उपाधि-कृतं नानात्वं न वस्तुकृतमेवमेकस्यापि चैतन्यस्यान्तःकर-णोपाधिभेदेनावच्छिन्नतया नानात्वं तेन “तद्गुणसार-त्वात्” शा० सू० “घटसंवृतआकाशे नीयमाने यथा घटे ।घटोनीयेत नाकाशस्तद्वंज्जीवोनभोपम” इत्युक्तेश्च जीवस्यन स्वत इहलोकपरलोकगामित्वमपि तु बुद्धिरूपाषि-भेदन तथाव्यवहारः अतो न बन्धमोक्षव्यवस्थानुपपत्तिःयन्निन्नुपाधौ अज्ञानाधीना संसारप्रवृत्तिस्तस्य जीवभावा-त्मकतया बन्धः, यत्र च तन्निवृत्तिः न तत्र तथा, किन्तु-मोक्षः । विस्तरस्त्वाकरे ।
