found virtually only in Bu. works and Lexx. in Skt.
otherwise occurs once in Rājat. (?), and, to be sure, yajñāvacará in MS., see pw s.v.
despite these rare Skt. occurrences belongs fundamentally to Pali and BHS, where it is very common)
