(पुं) अर्थयते । अर्थी एव । अर्थिन्+कन्(स्वार्थे) । १. याचकः २. स्तुतिपाठकः, वैतालिकः ३. निद्राणस्य नृपादेः जागरयिता । ‘वैतालिका बोधकरा अर्थिकाः’ हैमः।
(पुं) अर्थयते अर्थी एव । स्वार्थे कन् । १. याचकः २. स्तुतिपाठकः ३. निद्रागतनृपादेः जागरणार्थ नियुक्तः स्तुतिपाठकः । " वैतालिका बोधकरा अर्थिकाः सौखसुप्तिकाः" अभि.चि० ।
