अभिस्यन्दिन् Tatpur. m. f. n. (-न्दी-न्दिनी-न्दि) The same
as अभिष्यन्दिन्
the change of स् to ष् in this deriv. of
स्यन्द्, pref. अभि, being optional, if it applies to inanimate
objects
if it is used, however, of living beings the form
should be only अभिस्यन्दिन् (Pāṇ. VIII. 3. 72.). Comp.
