2. m. (-कः) A proper name, the same as अबद्धक (q. v.)
of which it is a various reading

अबन्धकाः or आबन्धकयः (Gaṇaratnam.: बन्धं करोतीति बन्ध-

II. Bahuvr. 1. m. f. n. (-न्धकः-न्धिका-न्धकम्) Without a

2. m. (-कः)

no pledge has been given
(in such cases the monthly in-
terest is in the direct order of the classes, two, three, four
or five in the hundred
according to Yājnavalkya)

Mitākṣara: सर्वे ब्राह्मणादयोऽधमर्णा अबन्धके सबन्धके वा
स्वकृतां साभ्युपगतां वृद्धिं सर्वासु जातिषु दद्युः. (

huvr.: ‘न विद्यते बन्धोऽस्येत्यबन्धकः’.) E. अ priv. and बन्ध,
